Clyde Williams was the eighth head college football coach for the Iowa State University Cyclones located in Ames, Iowa and he held that position for six seasons, from 1907 until 1912. His career coaching record at Iowa state was 32 wins, 15 losses, and 2 ties. This ranks him fifth at Iowa state in total wins and fourth at Iowa state in winning percentage.[1] He was also the school's first men's basketball coach from 1908 to 1911, where he compiled a 20-29 record.
