[edit] Bridge approach widening
The bridge is currently closed to traffic and will remain so for the duration of the Summer of 2006. This is because of works being carried out to widen the approaches to the bridge to reduce collisions.
I commented out the above in the article because it is out of date. As of Oct 2006, it is open. Secondly, as a stranger, I could not be sure if any work had been done and I could not amend the article accordingly. MortimerCat 17:32, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

This quite important point isn't mentioned anywhere! I believe it originally dates from the C14, but don't have the documentation to back that up. 86.132.136.165 22:12, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
