Talk:Cloud 9 (Battlestar Galactica)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Name
Does anyone else not like the article's title? The disambiguation qualifier is very vauge, like it could apply to any "starship" in fiction, not specifically to Battlestar Galactica. I propose a move to Cloud 9 (Battlestar Galactica). Any disagreements? --Bacteria 16:06, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
- I can't imagine any controversy over it so be bold and move it if you like :) thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 16:15, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
It was just sitting under that name for so long, that I just thought it might have been one of those times were I was missing something kind of obvious. It's moved now and realising that it wasn't just me, I'm also sure it won't be an upset outside a few redirects. --Bacteria 19:07, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Geodesic Dome
The article says more that once that this ship has a "Geodesic dome". However, the dome is not actually geodesic - that term refers to a fairly specific set of geometrical shapes and this one doesn't qualify. Is that being too pedantic? Does anyone object to a change it to just "dome"? IdahoEv 06:44, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- We could say it was a "biodome" I guess. Cyberia23 00:49, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Destruction
I distinctly recall Baltar being Vice-President when he handed the nuke to the Cylon. However, I think he already was President when it the warhead was detonated and Cloud 9 was destroyed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Itkovian (talk • contribs) 21:34, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
