Clothing swap

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A clothing swap is a type of swap meet wherein participants donate their unwanted clothing and then are given the opportunity to go through the clothes of everyone else in attendance and can take whatever they want.

Clothing swaps are easy and cheap to organize, and are considered a good way to both declutter and refill one's wardrobe.

Many groups exist that throw large-scale clothing swaps to raise money and clothes for charitable donations. These groups include Swap-o-rama-rama and SwapSF. A Web site called Zwaggle provides the means to hold virtual swap groups, with the option to donate clothes and other gear to charity.
