[edit] Reply to your message on my talk page

The PAL version of the PS3 have a reduced backwards compatibility because they lack the hardware necessary for hardware emulation. It has nothing to do with the fact that they are a different frame rate than the NTSC models. Please read the reference associated with that section in the article: [1]. Thanks ARC Gritt 22:49, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale

You removed {{fairuse rationale needed}} from Image:BladeRunner PC Game (Front Cover).jpg without adding a fair use rationale. The non-free game cover template says: "To the uploader: please add a detailed fair use rationale for each use, as described on Wikipedia:Image description page, as well as the source of the work and copyright information". I hope you now understand why the image was tagged. Best regards, Ilse@ 02:12, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

why don't you put the rationale info yourself instead of tagging these files? you came here two weeks or something ago and your work is not constructive nor significant and seems like vandalism like if you were hoping that no rationale is added so the picture is deleted. i noticed your contributions consist of adding warning tag, what's your point? is it for revenge maybe? i noticed the fist message you received on your talk page was a tag warning. why don't you help people instead of posting tags? why are there no such rationale on Star Wars' pictures for example? it's like your are focused on Blade Runner, what for? I replied here to your message. – Ilse@ 13:46, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] So many edits in so short a time

Hi CO! I noticed that over the last day or two you've made almost 70 edits in a row to the Bladerunner page, most of them tiny, incremental changes. Is there any way you can roll your edits into bigger chunks, because with so many in a stream like that it makes it hard to see what's being done. Thanks for the work on the page, from a long time Bladerunner fan who saw it in the theater when it first came out. :) Rob Banzai 18:32, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

hehe sorry, I was into it. I'll try to calm down ^^. Cliché Online 20:54, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Original research

"for the younglings who didn't watched them, Battle Royale is a ripoff of two hollywood movies Fortress (1993) and No Escape (1994) for what it worth it should be mentioned in the article. Cliché Online 21:18, 25 June 2007 (UTC) "

Unless a newspaper or CNN comes to that conclusion too, that's Wikipedia:Original research, which is not permitted. WhisperToMe 15:13, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

it's just i'm smarter than CNN... just kidding. :) Cliché Online 19:07, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Secretbronx.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Secretbronx.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Rory096 00:37, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Metalvsgray.jpg

I have tagged Image:Metalvsgray.jpg as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan}} to the image description page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again. [edit] Replaceable fair use Image:Aircarft cemetary davis montha 2007.png

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Aircarft cemetary davis montha 2007.png. I noticed the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. VegitaU 15:17, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bellefontaine, Ohio

Greetings! I regret to tell you that I had to undo an edit you had made to Bellefontaine, Ohio. While you are correct that several "cities" in France (actually communes; see Bellefontaine) existed under the name "Bellefontaine" prior to the establishment of the Ohio city, there is no evidence that any of these were the namesake for which Bellefontaine, Ohio is named. Quite to the contrary, the Ohio Historical Society states that the French words for "beautiful spring" were applied to this settlement to refer to actual springs.[4] The practice of naming American settlements with French words is also not unusual; see also Detroit, Michigan, Belle Fourche, South Dakota, and Presque Isle State Park in Pennsylvania... the last of which was named by Anglophones because it resembled the natural feature for which its French name refers, just as with Bellefontaine, Ohio. -- SwissCelt 06:08, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

Merci for the infos, i'll check this in due time. Thanks. Cliché Online 10:08, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Railfan front.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Railfan front.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 21:56, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Hi — I just wanted to leave you a friendly note. A number of your recent edits have been inflammatory and offensive to other users, if not incivil. Please remember to follow our talk page guidelines and stay cool and neutral when you're discussing things with other users. --Haemo (talk) 05:43, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Edit warring

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 2007 civil unrest in Villiers-le-Bel (France). Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. · jersyko talk 21:00, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

false, this is Rama and Zantastik who are removing sourced infos and removing others, i've restored the edits, why you don't post the warning in their talk page and only mine? you are not neutral and share their agenda. i will refer to a neutral administrator because you are obviously not reliable. Cliché Online (talk) 21:05, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
If you believe that is the case, discuss it at talk further. Make your arguments. If they are convincing, surely experienced editors like Rama and Zantastik will listen. Edit warring is harmful, but civil discussion is not. · jersyko talk 21:09, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

I also strongly suggest that you begin to address arguments instead of contributors. Your recent comments at the relevant talk page are uncivil and are flirting with being personal attacks. If you persist in edit warring or incivility, I will block you. · jersyko talk 21:07, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

that's interesting, now you'are supporting him while he trolls seeking for an escuse to block me and letting him free to retells the events. shame on you. Cliché Online (talk) 21:09, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for edit warring and incivility. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. · jersyko talk 21:16, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
bullshit! since when telling a name is african is considered uncivil and a personal attack? Cliché Online (talk) 21:17, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

p.s. oh a block now, how surprising you are a son of a bitch! Cliché Online (talk) 21:17, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Riots in France

First of all thank you for your constructive edits to this article. I have reverted Rama's vandalism twice, and thus cannot do so again. He has violated Wikipedia's 3R rule (reverting the same text three times within 24 hours). He can now be blocked from Wikipeida. I don't know how to make the request. Do you? Best regards. Hadrianheugh (talk) 23:58, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

hi thank you for doing the dirty work, watch out dude or you're gonna end up blocked like myself. there are strong lobbies here within wikipedia. i've requested a block for this Rama and his black friends and as an answer i was the one blocked... better forget about it. things work like in the mafia out there. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Project FMF (talk) 23:56, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of ·Driving Force GT

A tag has been placed on ·Driving Force GT requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. ninety:one 15:57, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Playstation store psp pc.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Playstation store psp pc.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. NotifyBot (talk) 13:59, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Master Chief (Halo)

No, the article doesn't belong to me, but as you have not provided any evidence to sway the arguments of those on the talk page, consensus is against you. Continuing to add back in the information could lead to a block. The burden is on you to provide reliable sources to prove the mod is notable; so far you have not. Read the relevant policies. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 20:52, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

bullshit again i have given evidences the mod is notable, it was already talked in the discussion page and an editor agreed the paragraph was ok. the consensus is actually against you but you seems to believe the article belongs to you removing paragraphs you don't like despite reliable sources demonstrating the mod thing is huge and at least relevant. so continuing to remove the information could lead to a block. I have replied to you on the article talk page. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 13:43, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Macross Frontier promo teaser...

Greeitings, Cliché Online. I'm wondering if you've found other Macross Frontier wallpaper / background / promo teaser? I've been thinking about the one at http://www.macrossf.com/image/top/img_main.jpg as it's got the logo as well. Any comment? Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Howardchu (talkcontribs) 03:02, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

hi, actually i was thinking about replacing the now obsolete promo poster by the cover of the japanese blu-ray vol.1. didn't made it since i'm currently editing other articles. Cliché Online (talk) 11:53, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your reply. I've thought about the DVD / BD cover as well. Anyway, I'll leave it as status quote for now. (Howardchu (talk) 04:31, 3 June 2008 (UTC))
