The Army Air Corps became the Army Air Force in 1941, when Williams was only 18. I don't know exactly when he served, but I'm positive it was after the transition. I'll change the second paragraph accordingly, whenever I figure this out for certain. ataricom (talk) 00:11, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
