Clint Warwick (born Albert Clinton Eccles, 25 June 1940, in Wilton Street, Aston, Birmingham, England – died 15 May 2004, in Birmingham) was the original bassist for the rock band, The Moody Blues.
The Moody Blues released one album with Warwick on bass, Go Now - The Moody Blues #1 (a.k.a. The Magnificent Moodies). The album yielded the hit song, "Go Now", which reached #1 in the UK and the Top Ten in the U.S.
Warwick left the band in 1966, and his music career, to become a carpenter and spend time with his family, and was replaced briefly by Rod Clark and then by John Lodge, who is still with the band.
He died of liver disease in 2004, at the age of 63.[1]
