[edit] South Carolina State Parks

I got your message. I saw your infobox template for state parks. I tried it out on the Oconee Station State Historic Site. Unlike many templates, it displays the row for items that have no data entry. With no campsites at Oconee Station, the row for camping still appeared also with other rows. I did not include it in the editing -- but some pictures have been added.

The source information for the parks would appear to be just the DNR website. Without pictures, such as the one you used at Oconee State Park, the websites would look pretty sparse. KudzuVine 22:24, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

I like that the picture is in the template, but can we also add the SC Map image with the red dot on each park? I just wrote an article for Harrisville State Park in Michigan, and that template allows the MI Map with the red dot on Harrisville State Park, but no image of the park itself in the template. Seems to me they should have both (but if I had to choose I'd choose the state map with the red dot and put images of the park in the body of the article). Incidentally, I was bold and overhauled the WikiProject South Carolina page. There must not be many interested members, because no one's said a word. I've been watching the page for a while and there is a very low level of activity. Best, MoodyGroove 15:42, 29 June 2007 (UTC)MoodyGroove

[edit] SC State Parks Navigation

A tag has been placed on SC State Parks Navigation, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 172.137.12.148 15:06, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Cjspiller.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Cjspiller.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

The following images also have this problem:
