[edit] merger
Screw thiz!!the merger is logical....theres not a lot of depth here on its own Anlace 19:26, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
I strongly oppose the merger. This page talks about clean air acts in general and the other pages talk about specific acts. Generalcp702 23:34, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

- I would prefer to keep them separate. Pieces of legislation normally get their own pages. Keep this page as an overview. Jameswilson 23:51, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

I agree, keep them separate.
- Separate pages for individual CAA, keep this as disambig Jens Nielsen 08:24, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
- Opposed Each act should have a separate page Paul 01:00, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
I think that it should be separate —The unsigned comment was added by 71.234.163.209 (talk • contribs) 19:06, May 1, 2006 (UTC).
i think that the acts should have separate pages because they are made for different reasons and they happed at different times.but i do think at the ned of each page u should mention th eother acts if someone would like to further reseach them.So i agree to keep them separate.l —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.138.190.51 (talk • contribs) 19:24, May 1, 2006 (UTC).
I will remove merger tags due to lack of support. --Spiffy sperry 16:36, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
Separate pages are logical. Might create confusion for some, but different countries pass these acts at different times for different reasons. In fact, this generic page is confusing to me. I would have expected to see nothing but entries for Clean Air Acts for different countries, not this summary article. The first sentence begins with a strange phrase, "A Clean Air Act." I had no idea we could consider such a thing in generic terms. I thought the term was part of a specific name and specific act. Do any other countries use this term generically? Seems like more than three are needed before this article can be justified. Still, this is the internet, so there's room for overlap of this kind. mrs (talk) 12:23, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Dalal

The use of governments to enforce clean air standards has contributed to an improvement in human health and longer life spans.
Is there a source to prove this, or should it say "Proponents of Clean Air Acts say that the use of governments to enforce clean air standards has contributed to an improvement in human health and longer life spans."--216.74.210.188 22:20, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Clean Air Act prevents sale of PZEV vehicles
There's an article on Slashdot where the original article claims the CAA is preventing the sale of PZEV vehicles outside of 8 states (including California). If anyone knows more about this it'd be useful information to have. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.212.30.130 (talk) 17:48, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] "Vandalism"
The "vandalism" to which Alex43223 refers was unintentional. I think Mgeorge5 meant to edit another page, Clean Air Act 1956, a related, but different subject. So while Mgeorge5's edits caused trouble, they were not malicious. mrs (talk) 12:10, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
