Clem Loughlin

Clement Joseph Loughlin (Born November 15, 1894 in Carroll, Manitoba - Died February 8, 1977) was a defenceman who played hockey for the Victoria Cougars of the Western Canada Hockey League and the Detroit Cougars and Chicago Black Hawks of the National Hockey League. He was Captain when the Victoria Cougars won the Stanley Cup in 1925, and later became the first Captain of the Detroit Cougars (NHL) frontrunner of the Detroit Red Wings (NHL). Loughlin also coached the Black Hawks for three seasons starting with the 1934–35 season.
