[edit] Kurdish Writers from Kirkuk
Please read the references provided in the articles Farhad Shakely and Kajal Ahmad. These are very well known Kurdish writers and poets. Specially Farhad Shakely who has written 20 books and translated many literary works into Kurdish such as the works of Astrid Lindgren, August Strindberg (well known Swedish writers) and Boris Pasternak. He is also teaching in the University of Uppsala. Their inclusion was solely based on their place of birth and their prominent role in contemporary Kurdish literature. [edit] Robert John Braidwood
I'd created this article and was working on it when I discovered your existing article (called "Robert Braidwood"). I had to make one a redirect to the other, and it was easier to merge the material from yours to mine than vice versa — I hope that that's OK. Please continue to work on it. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 19:37, 30 January 2006 (UTC)

However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. MECU≈talk 22:18, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
