Clarkey

A Brighton pioneer in the year 2007. Revered as a local sportsman and leader of the people, he was educated at Brighton, Hove And Sussex Sixth Form College.

Joined Seagulls as a goalkeeper in 2003/04 season where the club finished second in Mid Sussex Division B gaining promotion. After finishing 9th in the 2004/05 season, the club disbanded. Clarkey then joined Pease Pottage Village F.C on a free transfer after the start of the 2006/07 season. Clarkey was a regular reserve starter in the first half of the season before losing his place in the new year. 2007/08 saw him involved with the first teams pre-season plans, named on the bench against Lewes F.C and Hanover. Currently first choice for the reserves and being linked with a move to a host of county league clubs.
