Clark Mollenhoff actually wrote 13 books, the last being published after his death. It was a book of poetry, "Ballad to an Iowa Farmer: and Other Reflections." Ronald Reagan enjoyed his poetry, and recited "Teacher" upon giving an award, as did Meredith Willson on his "Music Man." (edit)

Wasn't the Boomer writing for the Washington Times while at W&L? I seem to remember jokes about the moonie paper.
And didn't he get a Pulitzer (or some other big award) for his research into the C5A contracts? I don't have my copy of Investigative Reporting any more. 74.8.191.210 21:13, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
