[edit] Ousted?

This statement can't be true: "this stance raised suspicions within the FBI and conservative circles in California, that later would lead to Kerr's ouster." He wasn't ousted as Chancellor, he was promoted to UC President where he served for nine years until 1967. I don't have a long attention span, so I'm going to edit it out now until someone can prove this. Glenn4pr 01:09, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Scholarly Career missing . . .

I'm not the one to do it, but there needs to be at least some account of his scholarly career, for which he is arguably best known: _Industrialism and Industrial Man_ to some extent, but especially _The Uses of the University_, the book he is best known for. Anyone up for it? 216.170.131.112 (talk) 23:42, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Master Plan?

Shouldn't there be SOME mention of his involvement in writing/enacting the California Master Plan for Education? I don't know enough about it to write it into the article, but I know it was one of his proudest (and most visible/well-known) accomplishments! 67.188.192.74 (talk) 04:53, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
