I've taken out 12 March as the date of C.N.D.'s death as I can't find confirmation of this anywhere -- and it seems just too huge a coincidence that she should have died on the same calendar date as the Clara Novello (1818–1908) from whom she pinched her stage name (though stranger things do happen at sea!). -- Picapica 14:14, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

If the date of death is not 12 March, why should it be 1 March? According to "Dictionary of Welsh Biography" she died "7 February 1943" http://yba.llgc.org.uk/en/s2-DAVI-NOV-1861.html Can "7 February 1943" be confirmed? -- Lagona 19:03, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

The exact date of death would certainly be mentioned in "The Musical Times, Vol. 84, No. 1201 (Mar., 1943), p. 96" (article available online, JSTOR) -- Lagona 20:43, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
