Claudio Andrés Bravo Muñoz (born on April 13, 1983 in Viluco, Chile) is a Chilean football (soccer) player. He recently signed a five-year contract with Real Sociedad. [1] Real Sociedad paid a reported €1.2 million for Bravo.^{[citation needed]} Fellow Real Sociedad goalkeeper Asier Riesgo and him formed the youngest pair of goalkeepers in the 2006-07 La Liga. Previously he spent 5 years with the Chilean team Colo-Colo, whom he helped win the 2006 Apertura tournament.

Bravo made his debut with Real Sociedad against RCD Mallorca in a 0-0 draw. Even though Real Sociedad was relegated, Bravo was regarded as of the best players on the team. He allowed fewer goals than many non-relegated sides, but because Sociedad scored so few goals in 2006-07 (32, joint for last), they were condemned to the Segunda División.

The starting goalkeeper for the Chile national football team, Bravo was called for duty in the 2007 Copa America, held in Venezuela.
