Claudio Aguirre

Claudio Aguirre Pemán (born 1958 in Madrid, Spain). Holds a degree in Economics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa de Madrid, and an AMP from the Harvard Business School.

Mr. Aguirre Pemán is an independent member of the Board of Directors of Vocento, having been appointed to the Board in 2006.
He previously held a wide range of senior management positions with Chase Manhattan Bank, Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch, where he was Chairman for Spain and Portugal.
Head of the private wealth management division.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Merrill Lynch International Bank Ltd. (London).
Member of the Global Executive Committee of private wealth management (New York).
Member of the investment banking global executive committee (New York).
Head of the investment banking division for Europe.
