Clark-Pleasant Middle School is located 20 miles south of downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. It is a 7th and 8th grade middle school with an enrollment of 650+ students and forty certified staff (35 teachers, 2 counselors, and 3 administrators).

The students' day is from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m with a flexible block schedule: 240 minutes for core classes, 90 minutes for related arts classes, 45 minutes for the "Connections Block", and a 15 minute homeroom for attendance, announcements (CPN News) and Channel 1 News. Students have five core classes: language arts, reading, math, science, and social studies. They are also scheduled into various related arts classes each year (Seventh Grade-- Multimedia, Art, Wellness, Family and Consumer Science; Eighth Grade--Swimming, Career Education and Technology).

We are located at 222 Tracy Street in Whiteland. From I-65, take exit 95. Head west to US 31 (approximately 2 miles) and turn right. We are located on the right just past the High School.

The mission of Clark-Pleasant Middle School is to

Develop the potential for each learner in the school

Build in each learner the skills necessary for lifelong learning, and in a more immediate sense, for success in high school

Develop a feeling of self worth and positive self-esteem and self-discipline that will allow each learner to cope with his/her changing world

Provide effective instruction in each discipline that is taught.

Provide adult role models that will exemplify appropriate educational, social, and moral behaviors.

Expose students to skills they will need to optimize the potential of the technologies that will emerge during their lifetimes.
