The Clarendon Grill (know as the "C-Grill" to locals) is an American-style restaurant in the Clarendon section of Arlington, Virginia. It is a very popular night spot as reviewed by the Washington Post.
[edit] History
The Clarendon Grill was founded in 1947 as a casual eatery to serve the residents of Arlington, Virginia. It originally served only food, but over the years, it gradually expanded, and added both a bar and live music on Saturday nights.
Most significant, in 2001 the C-Grill added lunch specials, which proved to be especially popular.
[edit] Lunch Specials
The C-Grill lunch specials include a sandwich, side dish, and drink. The most popular are the "Jackhammer" burger with french fries, and the turkey club. Although the Coke has generally been more popular as a lunch beverage, the Sprite is starting to make headway.
