Clarborough

Clarborough is a village and civil parish in Nottinghamshire, England . At the time of the 2001 census it had a population of 1,111 [1].It is located 3 miles north-east of Retford. The parish church of St John the Baptist is of 13th century date, restored in 1874. To the south of the village is the hamlet of Welham, with Welham Grange of 1667 and the 19th century Welham Hall. [2]
A post windmill was located on Clarborough Hill (grid reference SK120422). It was standing in 1753, and was burnt in 1896.
