Clara Midgeley

Clara Midgeley was a fictional character in the British soap opera Coronation Street. Played by Betty Hardy. Clara arrived in the street when the mission employed her as temporary cover while Ena Sharples was away visiting her brother, and she soon became friends with Minnie Caldwell, she set her sights on Albert Tatlock and proposed to him while they were on holiday, but he turned her down saying he was too set in his ways to marry again.
