CJLO is Concordia University's volunteer-run non-profit radio station. Formed in 1998 from the merger of CRSG and CFLI, CJLO broadcasts from near the center of the Loyola campus. From early 2003, CJLO has been streaming 7 days a week. It strives to offer a variety of musical styles and talk programming, and also hosts events throughout Montreal to help promote and support the community and local musicians.
CJLO currently broadcasts over the Internet; a license has been approved for it to broadcast on the AM band, at 1690 AM, and CJLO is currently building a tower and transmitter in order to do so.
