[edit] Parameters

Parameter Description
Name The name of the release. Defaults to {{PAGENAME}}. Do not use italics or quotes (this is handled by the Type field) and only wikilink when necessary (i.e. not in the article about the release).
Type Defaults to album, use with single to have single releases properly appear in quotes, instead of italics.
Artist The artist or band name. Only wikilink when necessary (i.e. not in the article about the artist), [[Various artists]] may be used as well.
Title The title of the notes, if different from the release name.
URL The full URL (internet address) of the notes if they are available online.
Last
First
Last and first name of the author of the notes, if different from the artist name.
Pages The relevant pages of the release notes. Please use the format p. 3 or pp. 2-6.
Format The format of the notes and (booklet, book, inset, back cover, cover, liner, etc) and the release itself (CD, DVD, vinyl, digital download, etc). Examples: CD liner, Vinyl back cover.
Publisher The record label. May be wikilinked if the record label has an article.
PID The publisher's ID (catalog number) for the release that corresponds to the notes, requires Publisher field.
Location The location of the publisher to the smallest geographical unit known (city, state, country). May be wikilinked, requires Publisher field.
MBID The MusicBrainz ID for the release, the part after http://musicbrainz.org/release/ and before .html.
