It is rather a long time ago, but I think it is worth reinforcing the 21 March 2007 reversion by Whereizben of the text inserted by Ewikiguy. This is because I recognised the source of the text - it is from The Rough Guide to Australia, page1138 in the seventh edition. The text was taken word for word, unattributed; and I am afraid you can't do that. See WP:NFC, sections entitled "Acceptable use of text" and "Unacceptable text".

Anyway, the text, being descriptive of the city, was misplaced in an article about the local government area. Something like this, but not simply a copy of text from somewhere else, could be added to Devonport, Tasmania, which is about the city itself. Patche99z 16:52, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
