[edit] what does mpg mean?

"In 1989 ... mpg ... gallons" Are these US gallons or imperial gallons (the values are significantly different, see fuel efficiency) Notinasnaid 14:38, 9 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Still no takers? I feel obliged to delete the figures in that case, since they are potentially very misleading. Notinasnaid 16:44, 22 Nov 2004 (UTC)

For the Talbot based on the AX, see the link. Thanks.

the specifics are not correct, succesors; space ship one etc.

On their site it says this was in 1994 and it was a diesel (i think) http://www.citroen.com/CWW/fr-FR/HISTORY/CITROENHISTORY/1990TO1999/1994.htm ("L'AX Eco bat le record mondial de la consommation avec 2,7 litres aux 100 km et marque un pas décisif dans les véhicules Diesel.")

The article needs to be cleaned up! Smelling like pensioner? Made like tin cans?

-I think someone was having a personal rant. Mine doesn't leak (much) and certainly doesn't smell of grannies. However, I would say that thier construction was more akin to crisp packets rather then tin-cans. I'd feel *safe* in a tin can. (Barnzi)

Removed the ranting as it's of no use to anyone. This is an encyclopedia and is not the place for unfounded claims and personal opinions. "Encyclopedic content must be verifiable."

  • Is it just me or should Wiki articles NOT include first person and anecdotal information? I'd take it out but I don't know what to put in its place...someone should fix this article!!
