City of Culture of Galicia (Cidade da Cultura de Galicia) is a complex architectural environment under construction in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain. It was designed by architect Peter Eisenman and office, following an architectural design competition hosted by the Parliament of Galicia in February 1999. The buildings are an extreme challenge to construct as the design of them makes them look like rolling hills with a high degree contours. Nearly every window of the thousands that are part of the external façade has its own custom shape.[1] It is set to be complete in 2012, taking 10 years to complete.
