CityMayors.com is a London-based independent internet platform specialising in urban governance, online since April 2003.
It describes itself as "an international project aiming to promote strong cities and good local government."
Primarily covering news about the leadership and political process of cities across the world, it also runs the annual World Mayor poll. Its city profiles and indices are widely linked to, and it also provides consultancy to international bodies on areas related to its editorial remit.
In addition to reporting by its own editors and correspondents from across the world, it also includes contributions from organisations such as UN-Habitat, the United States Conference of Mayors, the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, the New Local Government Network and Policy Exchange. It stresses it has no connections to any business, political or economic organisations however.
