CityNightLine

CityNightLine (timetable and platform sign abbreviation: CNL) is a Swiss night train service. CNL has right of passage grants in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and Denmark. The company's motto is Ich glaube ich träum (I think I am dreaming)

[edit] The foundation of a company
CityNightLine AG was a joint project/creation undertaken by the Deutsche Bahn (DB) (German Federal Railways), the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) and the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB-CFF-FFS). CityNightLine's first train departed on 28 May 1995. SBB-CFF-FFS and ÖBB has since ended their collaboration with CNL, which is currently a daughter company of DB incorporated under Swiss law.

CNL- Trains are divided into sitting carriage, couchettes, sleeping car and restaurant car. Sleeping cars are double decker and they are specially made for CNL.
