"Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll" is a song by the American hard rock band Blue Öyster Cult from their 1972 self-titled debut album. The riff was inspired by heavy metal group Black Sabbath's song The Wizard, featured on their self-entitled debut album. A cover version is also featured as an encore co-op song in the 2007 video game, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. Iced Earth covers the song on their cover album Tribute to the Gods.
