Citi Private Bank provides personalized wealth management services for affluent clients who include many entrepreneurs, families, and senior corporate executives. With 90 offices in 58 cities in 31 countries, it is one of the world's most global private banks.

Its private banking services are divided between its High Net Worth and Law Firm groups, which focus on servicing the needs of high net worth individuals and law firms and their lawyers. The Citi Private Bank's Investment Solutions group provides investment advisory services to the bank's clients. Its Capital Markets group provides clients services in fixed income, equities, and foreign exchange, among other areas. The Citi Private Bank is part of Citi Global Wealth Management, which also comprises Citi Smith Barney and Citi Investment Research.

As of April 2007, John Longley is the CEO of the US Citi Private Bank, replacing the controversial rule of Damian Kozlowski.
