genes dont bind DNA!
At it's best, this is terribly written. It's misleading and much of the information is wrong. Someone should just copy out of a text and cite it....
>> I totally agree! This article (http://www.genome.org/cgi/content/full/15/5/681) gives a fairly good description about the difference between cis- and trans, though it might be that the terms are used in different contexts too.
