Daniel Ciprian Preda is a Romanian born physicist and mathematician.

Preda spent many years teaching teachers of mathematics in Europe, specifically Romanian. Since 2006 he has taught at the University of California, Los Angeles.
[edit] Awards
In 1995, he won the silver medal in the International Physics Olympics. In 1996, he was one of the twenty winners of the gold in the same competition.
