Ciorescu (ancient variant: Romanian: Cricova Nouǎ; Russian: Новое Криково) is a small Moldovan commune, located 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) in the north-est of Chişinău, the capital of Moldova.
Old name - "Cricova Noua" ("New Cricova").
Ciorescu commune is a part of the Chişinău municipality.
