Hi, the user name Cincinnatiohio is created on this day Saturday, February 3, 2007 to upload images that can be used for public use at Wikipedia that are generic in scope but universal in its meaning. The first image uploaded is an acoustic grand piano keyboard showing the natural keys and sharp keys with an ebony reflection in the keyboard cover. Ivory keys are no longer made in the USA. Ivory keys were originally used by piano manufacturers but the loss of elephants for the use of tusks to make ivory keys was banned in the USA in the 1980s. Keys are made of molded plastic but sharps can be molded plastic or wood with a lacquer black gloss or semi-gloss finish. The ebony finish is usually lacquer sprayed. The keys are level so fingers can slide across them with ease. This particular piano has been played on by orchestra piano musicians, music ministers, and used for church services and special events. The keys were originally installed by a japanese piano manufacturer and regularly played by Cincinnatiohio to tune the acoustic grand piano, also to be used as an image at Wikipedia's Cincinnati Piano Tuning.
