[edit] How many books/magazines does it take to get notable?

Is there a cutoff for notability. The books and magazines Cindy Luu illustrates for are not minor or vanity press fare. They are sold in major stores (as well as Amazon, where I got the list) and the magazines are national (and international) publications. -- Kainaw(what?) 19:16, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Yes, have a look at Wikipedia:Notability (people). Addhoc 23:06, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
Well, it appears that most people don't make the cut, regardless of the amount of work they accumulate. I incorrectly assumed that someone with a well-known style and a body of work should be included. I only just learned who she was by hunting down what "Cluu-style" meant. -- Kainaw(what?) 00:14, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability

I learned who Cindy Luu was (and created this article) after a client told me that she wanted her website to be done in "Cluu-style". She gave me examples from various magazines, where I noted the name "Cindy Luu" as the illustrator. From there, I hunted down the artist's homepage. Right now, it is only an assumption that there is something notable about "cluu-style". I will do a brief search and, if nothing turns up, nominate this article for deletion. -- Kainaw(what?) 11:57, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
