[edit] Welcome!

Hi Cifar1, and a warm welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you have enjoyed editing as much as I did so far and decide to stay. Please do not remove cleanup tags without making the necessary changes so that they no longer apply. Unfamiliar with the features and workings of Wikipedia? Don't fret! Here's some good links for your reference and that'll get you started in no time!

Most Wikipedians would prefer to just work on articles of their own interest. But if you have some free time to spare, here are some open tasks that you may want to help out :

  • RC Patrol - Keeping a lookout for vandalism.
  • Cleanup - Help make unreadable articles readable.
  • Requests - Wanted on Wikipedia, but hasn't been created.
  • Merge - Combining duplicate articles into one.
  • Wikiprojects - So many to join, so many to choose from...Take your pick!

Oh yes, don't forget to sign when you write on talk pages, simply type four tildes, like this: ~~~~. This will automatically add your name and the time after your comments. You also might want to consider visiting Wikipedia:New user log and introducing yourself. And finally, if you have any questions or doubts, don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page or simply place {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will drop by to help out. Once again, welcome! =)

[edit] Alternavox

Hi Cifar1. You seem to know Alternavox pretty well and you might be able to help Wikipedia by expending this article a little and remove the small advertisment bias it still has.

- Can you reference some of the information described? (see footnote of similar article CKOI-FM)

- Do figure exist on how much people listen to this show?

- You could also tell on what station this show air

- Information on the show host could also be added

- Can you explain what is meant by "the FIRST alternative Latin radio show"? Is it the first to exist or the first in rating?

- I'm not sure why a dictionnary definition is pasted at the end of the article. It should be in a different section (using ==SectionName== ). It could also be a link to a Wiktionary entry!

These are just tip on how to improve the article, thanks and happy editing! AlphaAqua 20:54, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Alternavox

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Alternavox, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
