CiCi's Pizza is a buffet restaurant chain based in Coppell, Texas, specializing in American-style pizza. Joe Croce founded CiCi Enterprises, Inc. in 1985 in Plano, TX. His athletic talent brought him to Dallas where he played football for Southern Methodist University. He put himself through college working in pizza restaurants. After receiving his degree, Joe knew that he wanted to be in an environment with intense public contact.

In March of 1985, Joe opened his first restaurant with his business partner, Mike Cole. They used the first letter of their last names to come up with the name CiCi's. The restaurant was a 1,200 square foot, strictly take-out pizza restaurant. It became an instant success.

The first restaurant was so successful that a couple of years later, they opened a second restaurant. This time, the restaurant was a to-go plus a buffet concept.

The food at CiCi's is served in an all-you-can-eat setting. Cici's offers 16 different kinds of pizza, along with pasta, soup, salad, and 3 desserts.

The price for a buffet at any CiCi's is now advertised to be "at an incredibly low price." It was previously advertised "at under $5+ Tax." Soft drinks are extra. The buffet was originally priced at under $3.00, but the debasement of the US Dollar forced price increases to be made by Cici's management and franchisees.^{[citation needed]}

CiCi's expects to open 80 to 100 new units per year over the next five years through franchising, with the possibility of units opening in Mexico.^{[citation needed]}
