[edit] "I Want Someone To Eat Cheese With"
Worth noting a watch for to put in the "popular culture" section; the trailer doesn't give much away, but mentions the topic of this article in passing:

[edit] Merge Proposal.
Chub (gay slang) should be merged with this article. --Dan LeveilleTALK 22:08, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Disagree. I think both articles need be developed and the average reader will be looking for information on one community or the other. They should link to each other though. Benjiboi 22:14, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

- If not, you're right, the articles should link to each other, because a "chubby chaser" could refer to both gay and straight. There should be a section on the Chubby chaser that has a {{main|Chub (gay slang)}}. There needs to be integration! haha. (PS - I always run into you on articles that we've both edited!) --Dan LeveilleTALK 22:17, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Disagree We're in the process of trying to clean up all of these gay slang articles. Each are unique to their own and as per mine and Benji's discussion just today about these 2 articles in particular, they should be kept seperate. -- ALLSTARecho 22:21, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
Propsal Removed - Alright, sounds like you guys can make the two articles work. Thanks. --Dan LeveilleTALK 22:33, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- Merge, that can also be one article 212.95.119.61 (talk) 04:44, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Teen Wolf
“An example would be how Dom is attracted to the Teen Wolf. She is now labled a Chubby Chaser by her friends.” Does anyone have a source for this? I don’t even know what this is supposed to mean anyway. Taric25 (talk) 22:40, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] "Officially" a Chubby Chaser??
I am a man who is exclusively attracted to BBW...yet, I find the term "chubby chaser" offensive. To me, BBW are living art, and any woman is my equal, not someone to be chased like a prey animal. For me, my feelings are as natural as breathing or sleeping when tired. I would request that the word "officially" come off this article...as it is no fact, and not NPOV either. 65.248.164.214 (talk) 20:49, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'm with him. Why call someone a "chubby chaser" at all? Do we call people who are attracted to thin people "skinny chasers"? No. Calling them Chubby Chasers makes it sound like it's a fetish or something - like it's all about the weight, and not the person. Shocking to some in this country, some people DO find the overweight to be sexually attractive. 99.129.102.247 (talk) 00:23, 10 June 2008 (UTC)LA
- It's certainly true that there's nothing official about the term, and it's been removed from the article. But (speaking as a chubby gay man myself) I don't see why "chubby chaser" should be offensive. It's very convenient to have a label that distinguishes the guys we do have a chance with from the guys we don't. —Angr 04:30, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
