Church Pastoral Aid Society

The Church Pastoral Aid Society was founded in 1836 to help the home mission of the Church of England in by providing funds for employing parish workers. It is distinctly low church Anglican in character and is often identified with the open evangelical movement within the Church of England.
Their records are held at the University of Birmingham Special Collections.
