[edit] February 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Waffen-SS, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Thank you. [edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 12:59, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your comments to my talk page

First of all, I don't read long diatribes anywhere. A couple of bullet points would have worked. Second, there is no "truth", there is WP:VERIFY and WP:RS for sourcing. There's WP:WEIGHT to cover fringe theories. There's no original research to prohibits writing original research and adding it to the article. And finally, there's WP:NPOV, stating that we have to be neutral. Your edits and statements violate most of those rules. OrangeMarlin Talk• Contributions 18:39, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] March 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Omaha Beach, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please do not attack other editors, which you did here: User talk:Orangemarlin. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This edit constitutes a personal attack. Worse yet, I didn't make a single edit to Omaha Beach. You are becoming tendentious and you should stop. OrangeMarlin Talk• Contributions 05:39, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
