From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

George Washington's Revenge is an experimental band from the Toms River and Beachwood areas of New Jersey formed in 2005. Their overall sound is rooted in folk punk, but also combines elements of waltz, ska, jazz, reggaeton, celtic, swing, and any other genre that they find to be interesting. As with many folk punk bands, most of any merchandise GWR produces is made in a DIY fashion, from hand-painted t-shirts to homemade CD covers cut and glued together by the band. Many people tend to shorten their name to "GWR!"
