[edit] length
kinda short... Christopher Latham Sholes was my deceased husbands great grandfather. My mother-in-law, Elva LaVerne Sholes Fansler was his granddaughter. She actually resembled him. It is interesting to read history of family members and see what characteristics my children share with their family history. Thank you for the information. Diana L. McKay, Pittsburgh, PA
[edit] Irrationality of content
How could he have invented the typewriter in 1868 and continued development on it throughout the sixties, developing QWERTY in 1863? That's illogical.
