This article gives no information about the current status of Christianity in Taiwan, only history. If anyone has current statistics or info to add, that would be great. For example, I've noticed many Mormons in Taiwan, and I think that should be included. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Terriblefish (talkcontribs) 18:14, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Persecution under the Koxinga and Manchu Annexations

An interesting article. Is there information/references on the nature of persecutions carried out by Koxinga and his sons? Also, what specifically did the Qing do when their policy changed? Minguo 16:10, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Pro-Christian Narative Slant- I find the article informative, however I think the author's narrative slants in favor of Christianity. For neutrality purposes the article should probably avoid words that encourage a "good vs. bad" narrative; such as "unfortunately" in this quote. "Formosa was then for the first time annexed into the Chinese empire where, unfortunately, the Qing dynasty's official toleration of Christianity was beginning to give way to harassment and soon to outright persecution."
