I could not find his dates of birth/death nor any details of career after Fashoda. A fuller account of the de Bonchamps Expedition in Ethiopia would also be rewarding, if anyone has access to the book by Charles Michel-Côte, "Mission de Bonchamps: Vers Fachoda à la rencontre de la mission Marchand à travers l’Ethiopie", Paris, Plon, 1900, I'm sure it would be interesting -- I only had access to an extract.
