Some suggestions for improvement as the article is expanded:

Template:Infobox Scientist should be added
Portrait should be added from a source with a free license, if available
Article needs expanding and should emphasise reasons for notability of subject
After expansion, article should be divided into appropriate subheadings
Information on research should be expanded
References should be expanded to include secondary sources, and preferably converted to inline format
Material in external links (in German) could be used to expand the article
