Now, I don't know anything about this guy, but I'm guessing that the link from Lloyd's of London ("Thirdly, during the decade [the 1970s] a number of scandals had come to light, including the collapse of the Sasse syndicate and the disgrace of Christopher Moran, which had highlighted both the lack of regulation and the legal inability of the Council to manage the Society.") doesn't refer to him at all. Can someone who does know this lucky gentleman's personal history please check this and edit if necessary? I would do it myself, but I don't have the knowledge. Many thanks.
