Didn't Bangle get demoted from head designer to design director?
→No. His promotion to a higher seat in the BMW hierarchy was seen as a 'demotion' but he technically got more power in the BMW group and gave up day-to-day operations in BMW design to Adrian Van Hooydonk Reference. Jdeviant 20:43, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
→Agreed. It's a vast reduction in the number of managers who can interfere with Bangle's agenda. In Tom Wolfe's book on 20th century architecture (From Bauhaus to Our House) Wolfe pointed out that the leftist agenda of Modernism was being pursued with the funds of Capitalists/Aristocrats, sort of like paying someone to pie you in the face. No one should be surprised that Bangle's paymasters are letting him do as he pleases, because it fits an old pattern.
