Talk:Chris Anderson (TED)

[edit] Curatorial Title
Anderson has the title of "Curator," a title whose traditional definition refers to the scholarship, maintenance and display of a collection of tangible works of art, history, science or culture. The word has been dilluted in recent years and has been appropriated to include everything from interior design to shopkeeping to to disc jockeying. In such a high profile role, it seems unusual that Anderson would endorse this misuse or overly generous use of language.
[edit] Suggested move
I suggest we move this to Chris Anderson (entrepreneur), as he has done other things besides being part of TED. Anyone against it? Enobeno (talk) 09:22, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- The question is: does the proposed title disambiguate satisfactorily? The Chris Anderson (writer) article states that he is the chairman of a start up company for example. Skomorokh 11:20, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
