This freeway guide sign in Santa Monica, California indicates that Interstate 10 has been officially designated the "Christopher Columbus Transcontinental Highway" by the city of Santa Monica, Calif. No other such signs seem to exist anywhere between Santa Monica and Jacksonville, Florida.
