Christopher "Chris" Hart is the best-selling author of art instruction books, covering topics including comics, cartoons, and human anatomy. His books have sold over 2.5 million copies and have been translated into 18 languages. He has had the number 1, 2,and 3 top selling art books in the nation at the same time, according to Nielsen BookScan.

He has his own imprint, Chris Hart Books and a line of art kits produced by the Loew-Cornell art company. Along with his illustration partner, Anzu, Hart is the co-author of the upcoming graphic novel, The Reformed (published by Del Rey Manga).

Many of his books have been selected for special notice and recommendation by the American Library Association and the Young Adult Library Association.

Chris enjoys frequent contact with fans and is known to answer most of his readers' emails.
